Media BUSTED! ‘Right Wing COVID Conspiracy Theory’ Ends Up Being True After All
RED RIGHT DAILY | November 29, 2020
The Left has been claiming for months that there is nothing suspicious about the coronavirus death toll.
We’ve heard from people like NBC News, Dasha Burns, that it’s a conspiracy theory ” hospitals are benefitting financially from COVID.” She would know because she spent “3 days with “frontline workers at hospitals in a part of Appalachia where hospitalizations have more than doubled in the last month.”
The real problem is you, right-wingers, in “Appalachia” who don’t think COVID is real.
THREAD: I just spent 3 days with frontline workers at hospitals in a part of Appalachia where hospitalizations have more than doubled in the last month. But hospital staff say many in their hard-hit communities still don’t believe COVID is real. Misinformation is rampant.

One nurse told me stories of otherwise healthy 30 year-olds coming in short of breath and not understanding why. She tries showing them chest x-rays and explaining evidence of the disease, but often they don’t believe they have COVID until they’re in critical condition.

Another nurse told me some come in severely sick with COVID, but when they test positive they blame the hospital for giving it to them. There’s a popular conspiracy theory that hospitals are benefitting financially from COVID. But in fact, many are struggling to stay afloat.

What Burns is peddling is liberal Democrat propaganda, “fact-checkers” quietly admit, hospitals do earn more.
From USA Today (hardly a bastion of conservative thought):
Hospitals and doctors do get paid more for Medicare patients diagnosed with COVID-19 or if it’s considered presumed they have COVID-19 absent a laboratory-confirmed test, and three times more if the patients are placed on a ventilator to cover the cost of care and loss of business resulting from a shift in focus to treat COVID-19 cases.
This higher allocation of funds has been made possible under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act through a Medicare 20% add-on to its regular payment for COVID-19 patients, as verified by USA TODAY through the American Hospital Association Special Bulletin on the topic.
Funny, I didn’t see Twitter fact check Burns like they fact check the President.
The mainstream media continues to claim they are the only authoritative source and yet they are the ones pushing conspiracy theories all for their precious narrative.
