Learn about CIA’s connections to secretive elite society.

Texas-based radio host Alex Jones turned heads during a visit to New Haven, Conn., Monday where he visited the sacred Tomb of the Skull & Bones secret society.

Outside the organization’s windowless Tomb building at the southwest end of the campus, a crowd of students surrounded Jones as he filmed a new exposé documenting the shadowy group’s influence on the world and the intelligence community.

Report produced by student paper Yale Daily News:

[Editor’s Note: naturally, Jones (and others) is labeled a ‘conspiracy theorist’ for the ‘crime’ of digging up the bones and origins of what’s really going on; a tried and true tactical method via ‘Rules for Radicals‘ to deflect from the truth, thus, smearing those who dare to tell it].

“Skull & Bones is on record helping found the CIA,” Jones told the Yale Daily News. “And it really is at the root of some of the corrupt, out-of-control elites in America.”

“The same elites that are trying to avert the American people to class warfare are the ones that opened up China, that are involved in a lot of different types of authoritarianism.”

Jones goes on to cite the movie The Good Shepard as a “historical example” depicting how Skull & Bones is linked to the CIA’s creation.

The film is loosely based on Yale and Skull & Bones alum James Jesus Angleton, a famous spy who was the founding Director of CIA Counterintelligence appointed by longest-serving CIA Director Allen Dulles during the Cold War.

piece published by the News later said Jones “made unverified claims that the group was involved in the founding of the United States Central Intelligence Agency,” however the CIA’s ties to The Order of Skull & Bones have been well-documented.

Founded in 1832, the secret society has been a gateway for the elite and boasts three US presidents, with other members taking up prominent roles in state and federal governments, the Supreme Court, the intelligence community, academia, media, industry and finance.

Bonesmen have included such prominent figures as both 2004 Democrat and Republican presidential candidates John F. Kerry and George W. Bush, George W’s father, President George H.W. Bush, and his grandfather, Prescott Bush. Even Trump administration Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin was a member of the secretive fraternity.

The CIA’s origins and its ties to Skull & Bones alum Robert A. Lovett have been documented in journalist Kris Millegan’s book, “Fleshing Out Skull & Bones.”

There were so many “Yalies” in the OSS (Office of Strategic Services) [the CIA’s predecessor] that Yale’s drinking tune, the “Whiffenpoof Song,” became an “unofficial” song of the OSS were “Bonesmen” or belonged to the other Yale senior socities.

Robert Lovett (S&B ‘18), Harriman’s childhood friend, had been tapped into Skull & Bones by Prescott Bush’s cell of ‘17 and was a director at Brown Brothers, Harriman.

From George Bush: The Unauthorized Biography:

Oct. 22, 1945, Secretary of War Robert Patterson created the Lovett Committee, chaired by Robert A. Lovett, to advise the government on the post-World War II organization of U.S. intelligence activities… The new agency would ” consult ” with the armed forces, but it must be the sole collecting agency in the field of foreign espionage and counterespionage. The new agency should have an independent budget, and its appropriations should be granted by Congress without public hearings. Lovett appeared before the Secretaries of State, War and Navy on November 14, 1945. Lovett pressed for a virtual resumption of the wartime Office of Strategic Services (OSS) in a new CIA. …The CIA was established in 1947 according to the prescription of Robert Lovett, of Jupiter Island.

The group’s “Tomb” is reportedly decorated with skulls and filled with rooms where members are rumored to conduct macabre rituals and initiation ceremonies, one of which may include the reciting of past sexual experiences, according to journalist Ron Rosenbaum.

“You could ask Averell Harriman whether there’s really a sarcophagus in the basement and whether he and young Henry Stimson and young Henry Luce (Time Magazine) lay down naked in the coffin and spilled the secrets of their adolescent sex life to 14 fellow Bonesmen,” Rosenbaum wrote for Esquire in 1977.

The club was also sued in February 2009 by Apache Chief Geronimo’s descendants, who alleged in a federal lawsuit that the group was in possession of their ancestor’s skull – which members have posed with in group photos for decades.

(George W. Bush circled in photo with Geronimo’s skull.)

The skull was reportedly stolen from the warrior’s grave at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, by members of Skull & Bones who were stationed at the base, with some accounts alleging Prescott Bush played a role in the theft. The lawsuit was dismissed the following year.

Rosenbaum and a team in 2001 were able to film rituals being conducted in the inner courtyard of the “Tomb,” where members “acted out the tableau of a throat-cutting ritual murder,” according to the journalist.

“Of course, there is more to Skull and Bones than the mystical mumbo-jumbo of its rituals,” Rosenbaum wrote for the New York Observer at the time. “The rituals are less important than the relationships–the bonds of power and influence that develop between Skull and Bones initiates after they graduate.”
