What do we really know about William Burns?

Well, in about two hours I found out enough that had I been sitting in on the Senate confirmation hearings, I would have been standing on tables until this man had been disqualified.

His confirmation vote never should have seen the light of day, let alone being given the keys to the CIA.

We Love the Chinese!

I am starting to see a real pattern in this administration and Biden’s allies.

They all have business or have done business with the Chinese.

Burns is no different.

Burns was plucked from the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace.

This is a very powerful D.C. think tank that whispers in some very important ears when it comes to policy.

The organization was launched in 2010 in cooperation with Tsinghua University.

The organization employed roughly 20 CCP members at point, with four of them coming aboard while Burns was in charge.

Burns was asked about this by Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) during the hearings, but he seems to have lied giving his answer.

He stated, “This is a relationship that I inherited when I became president of Carnegie and that I ended not long after I became president.”

In fact, it took roughly two years for that program to end, almost half the time he was the big boss.

And if he was working to end it, why bring four more CCP members in after taking over?

Steve Yates, former deputy national security adviser to the vice president, explained, “Either he appears to have allowed government-linked experts from a hostile power to affiliate with an organization boasting many former and future U.S. appointees or he didn’t know or bother to check — a remarkable lapse in operational security for a highly-cleared former U.S. official and pretty disqualifying for a director of Central Intelligence.

“If you can’t track who was in your think tank, running a much larger intelligence agency is the wrong line of work.”

Yates added, “If any Communist Party members have easy access to any sensitive information whatsoever, they’re certain to get a visit from Chinese intelligence.

“They will have no choice but to gather and disclose on a regular basis going forward.”

Brandon Weichert, a national security expert and consultant for the U.S. Air Force, added, “They’ll do their job and you will not know that they are actually Chinese agents of influence until the moment that Beijing decides they need something.”

“They could exist for years in a sleeper mentality.”

Senator Rubio added, “Either they don’t understand the Chinese Communist threat or they simply don’t care because they’re desperate for solar panels and electric batteries from China.”

Democrats were worried about an international businessman that had loans from a foreign bank, so how cn they not be worried about high-ranking intelligence officials deeply linked to the CCP.
