The Biden Justice Department also raided former President Trump attorney Victoria Toensing Wednesday morning in conjunction with their raid on Rudy Giuliani, according to reports. Both raids purportedly involve alleged lobbying violations. Like Giuliani, Toensing and her husband, former U.S. Attorney Joe diGenova, worked on Trump’s 2020 election cases. The couple represented Ukrainian businessman Dmitri Firtash who is accused by the DOJ of bribery and racketeering. Giuliani, diGenova and Toensing also reportedly worked on gathering evidence of Joe and Hunter Biden’s corrupt dealings with Ukraine.

CNN’s Paula Reid reported, “CNN has learned warrants served this AM on Giuliani & another former Trump attorney, Victoria Toensing, both say they were related to a foreign lobbying investigation. Executing early AM search warrants on *lawyers* at their *homes* seems awfully aggressive for a *FARA* case.”

ABC News reporter James Gordon Meek reports the feds sought Toensing’s phone, “Feds also executed a search warrant at the home of Rudy colleague Victoria Toensing, requesting only one item — her cell phone, which she turned over, an informed source told me.”

Fox News’ Jake Gibson, “A well-places source says the FBI came to Victoria Toensing’s home this morning and asked for her phone and she gave it to them. Source also said the FBI did NOT search her home. Her law firm says she’s been informed she’s not a target of the investigation.”

Democrat impeachment lawyer Daniel Goldman weighed in, “This makes sense because, during the Ukraine impeachment investigation, we obtained draft retainer agreements between a Ukrainian official and Toensing and diGenova that Giuliani brokered.”
