‘Media Promotes 25th Amendment Scenario Following Trump COVID Diagnosis + Seriously? Look Who The Moderator For The Next Debate Used To Work For In College’ – THE POISON/TOXIN WITHIN: THE DEM-STATE MEDIA COMPLEX, THE FIX IS IN! [VIDEO EVIDENCE]

Scores of popular twitter users, including many media personalities and pundits, posted tweets on Friday citing the 25th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, which provides for a process for removing a president who is “unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office.”
Fox Business reporter Susan Li noted that “#Google searches on the #25thAmendment SURGED up! after the news broke”:

MSNBC analyst David Corn was quick to invoke the amendment:
NYT: "Even if Mr. Trump, 74, remains asymptomatic, he will have to withdraw from the campaign trail and stay isolated in the White House for an unknown period of time. If he becomes sick, it could raise questions about whether he should remain on the ballot at all."

CNN Chief International Anchor Christiane Amanpour tweeted that constitutional law expert Deborah Pearlstein says the 25th amendment provides for a scenario of President Trump’s diagnosis worsening:
What happens if President Trump’s diagnosis worsens? Constitutional law expert @DebPearlstein says the 25th amendment provides for that eventuality – but it gets a lot more complicated if the president himself doesn’t believe he is incapacitated, while those around him do… pic.twitter.com/Lqtji4lTZm

USA TODAY justice and legal affairs reporter Kristine Phillips said, “It’s too soon to talk about the president’s demise, but it’s not too soon to talk about the 25th Amendment. Trump’s symptoms could get worse and could affect his thinking.”:

Author Michael Beschloss also referenced the amendment:

CBS-affiliated WUSA9 tweeted that “the 25th Amendment helps accommodate for situations” when a president gets “too sick”:
Both President Donald Trump and Melania Trump are reportedly experiencing mild symptoms of COVID-19, with many wondering:
— WUSA9 (@wusa9) October 2, 2020
• What would the future of the debates look like?
• Could COVID forces the president to drop out of the 2020 election?
• Who would take over, and when?
Senior Executive Editor of Bloomberg Opinion David Shipley tweeted a “crash course on the 25th Amendment” from Cass Sunstein, who was in the Justice Department when Reagan was shot:

Despite associating the implementation of the 25th Amendment with the President’s COVID diagnosis, opponents have discussed invoking the amendment to oust him from the presidency on frequent occasion since his election.

TEA PARTY | October 2, 2020
The word “objectivity” really doesn’t seem to mean much at all to the Democratic Party and the various folks in the left-wing media who constantly lean to the left and push an agenda that transforms them more into propaganda machines than anything else.
Nowhere is this seen more clearly than the folks who keep getting picked to moderate presidential debates. First, we had Chris Wallace, a host for Fox News, who has made it very clear he hates President Trump. During the entire first event, Wallace more or less inserted himself into the conversation and made himself a second debate opponent for Trump. It was insulting.
Surely they wouldn’t repeat a similar mistake for the next debate, right?
Wrong.
The next moderator, Steve Scully, an editor for C-SPAN, actually used to intern for Joe Biden back when he was in college. I’m sure he’ll bring some objectivity to things, right?
Via BizPacReview:
Scully, now-60, reportedly worked as an intern in then-Sen. Joe Biden’s mailroom for six weeks from September to October 1978. The following spring, he reportedly worked as an intern in then-Sen. Ed Kennedy’s office.
According to some, this connection alone makes Scully an inappropriate choice for moderator, particularly in light of moderator Chris Wallace’s biased, one-sided performance during the first presidential debate this past Tuesday.
Among those who feel this way is Sen. Ted Cruz.
“Everyone agrees Tuesday’s debate was a train wreck. A major contributing fact was the moderator Chris Wallace, a registered Democrat, repeatedly interrupting to try to help Joe Biden,” he tweeted Tuesday.
“The next debate is set to be moderated by a former intern to…Joe Biden. This is NUTS. And no Republican should allow this bias to continue in future elections.”
Look:
1/x Everyone agrees Tuesday’s debate was a train wreck. A major contributing fact was the moderator Chris Wallace, a registered Democrat, repeatedly interrupting to try to help Joe Biden. The next debate is set to be moderated by a former intern to…Joe Biden. (And Ted Kennedy.)

2/x This is NUTS. And no Republican should allow this bias to continue in future elections.
— Ted Cruz (@tedcruz) October 1, 2020
I propose 2 simple, fair rules for future debates:
(1) GOP primary debates should be moderated by people who actually vote in a GOP primary. (Not Dem journalists who want GOP to lose.)
However, the internship factoid is one of many that suggest Scully may not be the optimal choice. While it’s true that his internship with Biden happened 42 years ago, a photo posted by him just four years ago shows him attending a Biden “beach bash.”
Gotta love the @VP at the Biden Beach Bash '16 pic.twitter.com/Z9gdC6Cmi1
— Steve Scully (@SteveScully) June 4, 2016
But there’s more. That same year, he posted a David Brooks column to Twitter bluntly titled, “No, Not Trump, Not Ever.”
No, Not Trump, Not Ever https://t.co/PFvHTeQSZu
— Steve Scully (@SteveScully) March 18, 2016
Combined, these factoids unequivocally disqualify Scully for the job of moderating the next presidential debate, according to critics.
The second debate “moderator,” Steve Scully interned for Joe Biden in college,
And wrote an op-Ed called “No, Not Trump, Not Ever.”
Get rid of him.
