Military Captures George Soros Bank Accounts, Arrest Warrants Announced Following Coup

NEWS SPILL | September 23, 2022

The Open Society Foundations of George Soros have had multiple bank accounts confiscated by the Myanmar military government, which has also issued arrest orders for 11 of the group’s members “on suspicion of providing financial assistance to the civil disobedience campaign against the military junta.”

The Open Society Foundations’ $5 million deposit into its Myanmar bank accounts, according to officials, violated “restrictions on such organizations’ activity.” Additionally, it is charged with stealing $1.4 million from the company’s bank accounts.

Soros is accused by the Union Solidarity and Development Party and other military-aligned groups of influencing Myanmar politics by supporting non-governmental organizations.

According to National File, there are a number of connections between Soros, Hillary Clinton, and recently ousted State Counselor Aung San Suu Kyi.

Aung San Suu Kyi accepted Clinton’s advice to run for a parliamentary seat in the 2012 Burmese elections, which marked the beginning of her official political career in that country.

Barack Obama, a former president, frequently advocated for Aung San Suu Kyi’s release from house arrest. In the 1990s and 2000s, Aung San Suu Kyi was frequently imprisoned for “subversive conduct” after taking part in anti-government demonstrations.

In 2012, she was awarded the Congressional Gold Medal, a moment she referred to as “one of the most moving days of my life.” To achieve this, the Obama administration placed sanctions on Myanmar with the caveat that they would be lifted after Aung San Suu Kyi was given the right to hold public office.

Additionally, progressive billionaire George Soros and his global network of nongovernmental organizations supported Aung San Suu Kyi.
