NEW YORK’S DICTATORS, CUOMO & De BLASIO, CREATED LAWLESSNESS: New York Turns Into Crime Free-For-All Amid Coronavirus Lockdown!

[INTRODUCTION BY ADINA KUTNICKIEver since the national lock-down, many have recognized that in the name of “safety”, and under its guise, fascist Demsters have gone hog-wild. Drunk on power, they have become akin to totalitarian dictators world-over. Indeed, power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

In line with this accurate but depressing national assessment, poster exhibits re the above are New York’s twin dictators, Gov Cuomo and Comrade De Blasio — notwithstanding countless others!

In the best of times, the aforementioned radical duo leave little to be desired. Under their so-called stewardship, state and city coffers are beyond bankrupt — so far in the red and in the tank, well, you get the financial hell-hole that they created, yes, they did. Not only that, the two far leftists (ab)use every opportunity — financially and otherwise — to prop up infanticide, destroy the educational system, let loose criminals, cripple the NYPD’s ability to surveil terror-incubating mosques, etc. etc., resultant, the chaos is pre-ordained.

Atop it all, under the cop-hating (once a Marxist-loving guerrilla aficionado, always one) De Blasio, his support of law and order has been less than slim to none. In no uncertain terms, he has an adversarial relationship with the NYPD. Despite his animus, the NYPD — a domain very familiar within for sundry reasons…..just take it to the bank — works tirelessly to side-step De  Blasio’s edicts; the most detested Mayor in decades within the NYPD’s men and women in blue. Passion-like. Know this: a goodly portion would lock him up, if it were up to them.]

To wit, onto the lock-down disaster…..

Across the country, law-abiding citizens are being forced to stay at home, with no income for the “greater good.”

Meanwhile, those with no regard for the law are being let out of jails and prisons or, apparently, allowed to just roam the streets and going on crime sprees.

While New York City remains under lockdown orders from Governor Andrew Cuomo (D), significant violent crime continues to skyrocket.

Cuomo issued a stay-at-home order on March 20th which effectively forced the closure of the majority of businesses, other than those so-called businesses. All in the name of stopping the spread, of course.

Even with the lockdown, major crime categories such as murder, burglary, and auto theft have been on a sharp rise.

Over the last 28 days, murders in the Big Apple have jumped over 55 percent compared to the same time last year, when there was of course no lockdown.

Breitbart reports:

Between April 13 to April 19, murders increased 100 percent compared to the same week last year. From year-to-date, murders are up by 5.7 percent.

Likewise, grand larceny auto — a crime that no longer warrants bail in New York — has increased more than 53 percent compared to last year. Specifically, there have been 500 charges for auto theft in the last 28 days. During that same time in 2019, there were 326 charges for auto theft.

Over the last week, grand larceny auto crimes across the city have jumped 50.5 percent and they are up more than 62 percent overall since the year before — the largest spike in crime year-to-date for any major category.

The lockdown has also not stopped the rise of burglary in New York City — another crime that in many cases allows the suspect to be released from jail without ever paying bail.

Burglaries are up by 25 percent in the last 28 days and up by more than 36 percent in the last week. From January 1 to April 19, burglaries are up 27.1 percent compared to this same time last year.

NYPD Commissioner Dermot Shea told local media outlets that suspects for burglary are being “released immediately” from jail, thanks to NYC’s new bail reform laws.

While the rates of other crimes, such as rape, felony assault, and grand larceny have brought down the total number of major crimes committed in the city during lockdown measures by 32.6 percent, crime overall is still up 4.6 percent year-to-date.

The overall number of shootings and shooting victims in the city have gone down during the lockdown, but the overall year-to-date have still increased. For example, the number of shooting victims between January 1 and April 19 has risen by 5.5 percent and the total number of shootings has increased by 4.1 percent compared to last year.

Breitbart notes:

At the beginning of the year, Cuomo implemented bail reform laws that eliminated bail for suspects accused of second-degree manslaughter, aggravated vehicular assault, third-degree assault, promoting an obscene sexual performance by a child, criminally negligent homicide, aggravated vehicular homicide, and about 100 other crimes.

Simultaneously, Cuomo has ordered the release of thousands of inmates across New York to ensure prisons are abiding by social distancing guidelines. The New York Post has reported that at least 50 of the 1,500 inmates released in New York City have been rearrested for crimes.
