In the latest from the election, Joe Biden told the press that the voters did not deserve to know his position on court-packing. The issue of court-packing has become a hot button topic and was formerly unthinkable, but times have changed and the question is on the table for many in Washington. More from the Daily Caller:
“No, they don’t,” Biden responded to a reporter when asked if voters have a right to learn his position on the hot-button issue.
While the former vice president has repeatedly refused to say whether he supports expanding the number of justices on the Supreme Court, his remarks Friday appear to be his most pointed rebuke of voters who care about the issue. “This is the number one thing that I’ve been asked about from viewers in the past couple of days,” KTLV anchor Ross DiMattei said to Biden of the court packing issue at a campaign stop in Las Vegas.
The idea of packing the court was unthinkable just 4 years ago but the Democrat party has raised the issue and is making it a serious option. The public has largely decried this effort and some are trying to make packing the court an impossibility through changes to the law.
