NYPD Scaling Back Security Around Trump Tower – DICTATED BY COMMIE MAYOR DE BLASIO, A TRUE MFKR!

The NYPD’s security presence at Trump Tower is going to be significantly scaled back now that its eponym has turned over the role of commander-in-chief to President Biden, Mayor Bill de Blasio said Thursday.
Hizzoner announced the reduction in security around the Midtown skyscraper one day after Biden was inaugurated as president.
“It’s still obviously a sensitive site, but it’s going to be a much lower security profile,” the mayor said during a press briefing. “A lot more of the space around it is going to be opened up, which is a good thing for the people of that neighborhood and for the city.”
During President Donald Trump’s time in office, the NYPD and federal agents have maintained tight controls around the building on Fifth Avenue between 56th and 57th streets.
The NYPD had previously said it would “re-evaluate” security around Trump Tower after Wednesday’s inauguration, with sources saying the stretch of East 56th Street directly south of the tower is expected to reopen to vehicular traffic.
Trump, a Queens native, now makes his home in Palm Beach, Florida.
The NYPD did not immediately respond to a request for additional details on the security changes.
