Taiwan Hit by Widespread Power Outages Affecting Taipei

Taiwan was hit with widespread power outages affecting Taipei on Thursday morning.

The outages affected major cities including Taipei.

This comes as Taiwan continues to face frequent threats from mainland China.

Nikkei Asia reported:

Taiwan reported a massive blackout on Thursday that is affecting its two biggest cities as well as its most important iPhone processor production hub.

Taipei, the capital, and Kaohsiung, the second biggest city, were among the areas affected.
