During his radio show “War Room: Pandemic” Steven Bannon sounded a very frightening but, necessary warning after news broke that Hong Kong is no longer politically autonomous from China.
“This is 1938,” Bannon warned.
Bannon warns that China knows that the most dangerous threat to them is democracy. Bannon believes that as China takes an economic hit from the US moving manufacturing they will honker down and control the region. Bannon believes that what the Chinese Communist Party is doing is similar to what Germany did in Czechoslovakia in 1938. Keep in mind a city slightly smaller than New York with over 7.4 million people all have British Passports are now stuck behind the “firewall.”

The State Department was required to issue a determination on Hong Kong under pro-democracy legislation passed late last year. The law requires the president to impose sanctions on foreigners who undermine “fundamental freedoms and autonomy in Hong Kong.”
