Undercover agent: Michigan mosques promoting child marriage, openly campaigning for Bernie Sanders

Retired federal agent Dave Gaubatz went undercover into the Islamic House of Wisdom mosque in Dearborn Heights, Michigan, on Friday, March 6, and walked out with literature he says legitimizes child marriage, jihad and Sharia-compliant “temporary” sex marriages.
Gaubatz, a veteran of the U.S. Air Force where he worked in Special Investigations, entered the mosque with a female associate named “Christine” about 11:15 a.m. on Friday and stayed until 2:30 p.m.
“The fact that they have these kinds of books right out in the open tells us they feel very comfortable pushing Sharia here in Michigan,” Gaubatz told me during a March 7 interview at a diner in nearby Troy.
Gaubatz also paid a visit to the American Muslim Diversity Association in Sterling Heights, a suburb of Detroit just north of Dearborn. Here, Gaubatz found members openly handing out flyers supporting Bernie Sanders for president.
Gaubatz said the Bernie-for-President flyers were being handed out to everyone who entered the AMDA mosque in Sterling Heights during Friday prayers. The flyers directed Muslims to vote for Sanders, an avowed socialist, in Michigan’s Tuesday, March 10, Democratic primary. This would seem to be a flagrant violation of the mosque’s nonprofit status.
But even more shocking were the books at House of Wisdom that contained Sharia-compliant information on Islamic marriages.
“There were several tables and bookshelves of materials open to the public,” Gaubatz said. “Several books pertaining to jihad as well as temporary marriages.”
Temporary marriages, for a few days or even a few hours, are allowed under Sharia for Muslim men, and these temporary-marriage contracts are often used solely for the purpose of having sex.
Gaubatz, a resident of Virginia, said he came to Michigan to launch an undercover investigation into area mosques on the invitation of concerned local residents.
“One mosque openly had messages to Muslim parents to marry their daughters off once she reached the age of puberty, which they mentioned was often at the age of 9. This material was current and not from the Quran,” Gaubatz said.
Gaubatz speaks Arabic and is trained in sharia compliance. He entered the mosques with a younger female and was accepted as though he were a Muslim.
A call to action
Gaubatz attempted to alert the local Fox News affiliate, Fox 2 Detroit, of his findings at the Islamic House of Wisdom but got nowhere, as the news outlet apparently didn’t think they were newsworthy enough to even check into.
Gaubatz issued a “CALL TO ACTION for American Patriots” to voice their concerns to FOX 2 Detroit. They can call the station at 248-552-5103 or email fox2newsdesk@foxtv.com.
He said the idea that young girls are likely being pressured to enter into marriage contracts with older men in Southeastern Michigan should upset people of all backgrounds and political persuasions.
“If there are any liberals who read this and have any concerns for innocent Muslim children being married at the age of 9 inside America, you can call also,” Gaubatz said in a statement on his Facebook page Monday.
Islam’s founder, the “prophet” Muhammad, married a girl who was 6 years old and consummated the marriage when she was 9, according to Islamic scriptures.

Gaubatz is co-author of the blockbuster book, Muslim Mafia, which was based on documents a team of undercover investigators removed from the Washington headquarters of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR).
He said he contacted Fox 2 in Detroit because, “although they have been overrun with liberals, they are all that conservatives have.”
Dangerous imam operates free as a bird in Michiganistan
Islamic House of Wisdom is led by Mohamed Ali Elahi, an Iranian-born imam who served five years as the top Islamic ideological instructor at the Iranian Naval Academy.
Elahi was questioned by U.S. Customs agents on Feb. 6, 2020, when he arrived at Detroit Metropolitan Airport, returning from a trip to South Korea, the Detroit News reported.
Elahi immediately condemned the U.S. Customs agents who questioned him as guilty of “Islamophobia,” according to the Detroit News article.
But the agents had good reason to be concerned. Elahi had just recently made comments critical of President Trump’s decision to kill Maj. Gen. Qasem Soleimani, the Iranian terror mastermind, according to the Investigative Project on Terrorism.
Elahi has long been suspected of being an Iranian asset operating freely as a religious leader here in the United States.
During a March 2017 trip to Iran, Elahi met with former Iranian President Mohammad Khatami. They had a “friendly conversation” about Khatami’s eight years as president and discussed his memories of Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, IPT reported.
Elahi also met with current President Hassan Rouhani in 2014 as part of a delegation of American Muslim leaders. He met Rouhani’s predecessor Mahmoud Ahmadinejad during his 2010 visit to New York, again with a delegation of American Muslim leaders.
Elahi first came to America in 1991 for a World Religions conference, put on by the World Parliament of Religions in San Francisco. By 1992 he had moved to Michigan and became director of the Islamic Center of America on Ford Road in Dearborn, which is now the largest Shiite mosque in America. He left that mosque several years ago, moving on to House of Wisdom.
Daniel Pipes, president of Middle East Forum, first wrote about Elahi in 1993, saying He allegedly came to the U.S. to inspect Hizballah operations and deepen Tehran’s influence among Shiites in America. Dearborn has the largest Shiite population in North America, most of them immigrants or second-generation from Lebanon, Yemen and Iraq. The first arrivals were sponsored by Henry Ford, who recruited them to work in his auto factories, a cheap-labor scheme later duplicated by General Motors and Chrysler.
Elahi’s Islamic House of Wisdom has been deemed a “very dangerous mosque,” by Gaubatz and others. Under Elahi’s high-profile leadership, the mosque is heavily involved in interfaith “dialogue” with Christian churches in Michigan, many of which have come under Elahi’s spell and refuse to hear anything about Islam’s dark side, with connections to child marriage, female genital mutilation, honor violence and other Sharia-adherent activities that don’t jibe with Western norms of equality of the sexes.
But in Michigan, where to speak critically of a mosque, no matter how solidly your criticism is rooted in facts, automatically brings accusations of “Islamophobia,” dangerous imams like Elahi operate free of worries.
That’s because the Muslim lobby, led by CAIR, intimidates politicians of both major parties into silence, if not outright support for the mosques.
Despite its documented ties to the Hamas terrorist organization, CAIR enjoys overwhelming support among Michigan’s mainstream media, which can be counted on to launch a smear campaign against anyone who questions what is being taught in the mosques.
“Of course people call me and all conservatives Islamaphobes, but it is me, a conservative, who is trying to get help for innocent Muslim children in Detroit,” Gaubatz said. “I called Fox 2 twice at the phone number given on their website. Both people who answered were rude and very unprofessional. Neither gave their name. “
He said he was almost immediately transferred to a generic line with a voice recording.
“And at the end of the recorded message it says if this is a news tip to call 248-552-5103. The two Fox employees whom management put in charge of answering the tip line should be fired and sued on behalf of the vulnerable Muslim children,” Gaubatz said.
When he conducts research into mosques, Gaubatz said he always contacts law enforcement and the media if he finds evidence of a suspected crime.
“The typical response is to be ignored,” he said. “SEE SOMETHING, SAY SOMETHING actually means SEE SOMETHING, SAY SOMETHING, DO NOTHING. This is what happens in America when liberals control the media and law enforcement.
“As conservatives we care about all children regardless of race or religion. Let’s help these children while liberals do nothing,” he said.
Gaubatz served 12 years as an active-duty agent in the Air Force Office of Special Investigations, followed by three-plus years as a civilian agent, including a stint in Iraq. He has researched more than 375 mosques since 9/11 and recently founded America’s Civil War Rising: The Red-Green Alert.
