Woke CDC Publishes Guide With ‘Preferred Terms’ Americans Should Use; Suggest Citizens Refrain From Using “Dehumanizing Language” Like “Inmate” or “Foreigners” In the Name of Public Health

GATEWAY PUNDIT | By Julian Conradson | August 28, 2021

After telling Americans how to live for a year-and-a-half, the corrupt swamp creatures at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention are now attempting to tell them what to say, as well.

The CDC has published a new guide on their website, listing dozens of “preferred terms” meant to replace speech that is already commonly used to describe certain types of people or groups.

Language in communication products should reflect and speak to the needs of people in the audience of focus. The following provides some preferred terms for select population groups; the terms to try to use represent an ongoing shift toward non-stigmatizing language.” – The CDC guide reads.

The ‘expert’ health officials claim that these speech codes will lead to better “health equity”  and “inclusive communication” for marginalized groups.

The CDC is using a common, but effective, Marxist tactic of redefining language and shifting the discussion to further their teardown of established societal norms.

The guidelines lay out several examples of what they call “Dehumanizing language” and gives the reader an alternative term to use instead for each one.

The list is as ridiculous as it is dystopian. Almost every example they provide is benign and their recommendations are needlessly complex, some of the new terms even seem to be more offensive than the current ones they are meant to replace.

Not that it needs to be clarified, but people getting offended is the least of these tyrants worries.

Here are just a few examples from the CDC’s PC speech guidelines:

“Instead of this…

  1. Inmate / Parolee
  2. Handicapped / Differently Abled
  3. Drug-users / Smokers
  4. Rural people / Poor people
  5. Biologically or genetically male/female / Gendered pronouns (He, She, Him, Her)

Try this…

  1. People who were formerly incarcerated / Persons on Parole or Probation
  2. People who use a wheelchair or mobility device / People with an intellectual or developmental disability
  3. People who inject drugs / People who smoke
  4. People who live in sparsely populated areas / People with self-reported income in the lowest income bracket
  5. Assigned or designated male/female at birth / Singular they or their”

The whole list can be found here.
