Nunes: Communist Chinese Influence Has Infected Nearly Every Sector Of Corporate America [VIDEO]

A House Intelligence Committee investigation has found that Communist Chinese influence has permeated across nearly every sector of corporate America, according to ranking member Devin Nunes (R-Calif.).
Nunes joined Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures” to discuss how the Communist Chinese Party’s reach has penetrated into America’s pharmaceutical, manufacturing, agriculture, entertainment, media, finance, sports, and technology sectors.
“This is just the next stage of our ongoing investigation that’s been ongoing for ten years,” Nunes told host Maria Bartiromo. “We spent the last year looking at the origins of COVID and whether or not China could be responsible.”
“We’ve been actually building this investigation for awhile,” Nunes continued. “And the sectors we’re going to look at are fairly broad and very concerning. The American people should be concerned. It’s not just the things you’ve heard about like sports and entertainment. There’s also sectors of the economy like technology, agriculture, pharmaceuticals.”
Nunes then explained that the committee plans to investigate several dozen U.S. companies over their relationship with and reliance on China, calling it a “national security danger.”
“We’re going to start with about a dozen U.S. entities that we’re going to investigate,” Nunes said. “Probably will reach about four dozen by the time it’s all over with. We’ll be notifying those companies this week. Hopefully they will participate in this investigation.”
“Should these corporations really be relying on supply chains and Chinese influence, and what does that do for the United Stated of America? It could, I think, really put us in national security danger. In fact, I know that’s the case,” he added.
In December 2020, a leaked database of registered members of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) revealed that thousands of members mass-infiltrated dozens of American companies and universities, including Boeing, Qualcomm, Pfizer, and New York University.
