BREAKING: US Attorney General William Barr Submits Letter of Resignation

BY LISA MICHELLE

Tonight, President Donald J. Trump announced on Twitter that U.S. Attorney General William Barr will resign, which will be effective before the Christmas holiday on December 23.

“Just had a very nice meeting with Attorney General Bill Barr at the White House,” President Trump writes. “Our relationship has been a very good one, he has done an outstanding job! As per letter, Bill will be leaving just before Christmas to spend the holidays with his family…”

According to Trump, Deputy Attorney General Jeff Rosen will replace Barr as Acting Attorney General, and Richard Donoghue will be moved up into the role of Deputy Attorney General.

Although Barr’s letter to Trump seems sympathetic — acknowledging the constant barrage of attacks against his presidency and his achievements — their relationship became strained by the prolonged Durham investigation into the origins of the Russia probe against him. To date, it has produced only one prosecution, while the same cast of criminal characters — for instance, the former FBI Director James Comey and his partner in crime, former Deputy Director Andrew McCabe — remain free to seal cushy book deals, appear as contributors on the most virulently anti-Trump “news” networks, and continue to push the Russia hoax.

Last month, during what has been a highly contested election, Barr told an AP reporter that the Justice Department had not identified evidence of “widespread” voter fraud. “To date,” he said, “we have not seen fraud on a scale that could have affected a different outcome in the election.” Barr is no fool. It’s hard to imagine that such an intelligent man didn’t realize his remarks would feed the media frenzy and an already biased narrative, which would make it all the more difficult for Trump to successfully contest the 2020 election results. Meanwhile, the DOJ and FBI have been nowhere to be found.

Alternatively, Trump’s legal team has investigated and uncovered numerous incidents of voter and election fraud throughout the swing states and has documented the testimony of thousands of first-hand accounts and expert witnesses in sworn affidavits that, among other things, prove foreign interference.

Nevertheless, regardless of threats to the safety of witnesses and state legislators, witness intimidation, obstruction of justice, and video footage of Georgia’s great “Ballot Heist,” Barr and FBI Director Christopher Wray have left them dangling in the wind to fend for themselves. Worse yet, rather than investigating the crimes and protecting the victims, authorities have gone so far as to interrogate and bully some of them.

The final rift, however, might have come when Trump learned that Barr knew about the Biden family’s shady dealings with China and Ukraine and the FBI’s year-long investigation into Hunter Biden for IRS fraud and money laundering but chose to remain silent until after the November 3 General Election. Had he spoken up sooner, he might have spared Trump, as well as the nation, from another coup attempt — his illegitimate impeachment — and changed the course of the election if not history. After all, Americans had the right to know before they voted for Joe Biden, and he had an obligation to alert them. Biden is a national security threat. Instead, Barr betrayed us all, keeping half of the country in the dark and leaving the other half, along with Trump and Rudy Giuliani, hanging out to dry to be disparaged as “crackpots,” conspiracy theorists, and even worse.

It’s too bad Trump didn’t act sooner when the first red flags were raised — when Barr delayed the Durham probe and failed to pursue the bad actors. And so, whether or not Barr resigned on his own volition or Trump forced his hand, it’s probably for the best. We can only hope that Christopher Wray and the CIA Director Gina Haspel are next . . .
