Something Smells Fishy in the Washington Swamp’s Intelligence Community

BY LISA MICHELLE

Yesterday, we learned from the Director of National Intelligence (DNI) John Ratcliffe’s office that a much anticipated intelligence assessment on foreign interference into the 2020 election would be delayed.

Intelligence community officials informed the Office of DNI that they had received new information since the election and are unable to coordinate it by the deadline tomorrow, December 18.

According to President Trump’s September 12, 2018 Executive Order 13848 on “Imposing Certain Sanctions in the Event of Foreign Interference in a United States Election,”

Not later than 45 days after the conclusion of a United States election, the Director of National Intelligence, in consultation with the heads of any other appropriate executive departments and agencies (agencies), shall conduct an assessment of any information indicating that a foreign government, or any person acting as an agent of or on behalf of a foreign government, has acted with the intent or purpose of interfering in that election. The assessment shall identify, to the maximum extent ascertainable, the nature of any foreign interference and any methods employed to execute it, the persons involved, and the foreign government or governments that authorized, directed, sponsored, or supported it. The Director of National Intelligence shall deliver this assessment and appropriate supporting information to the President, the Secretary of State, the Secretary of the Treasury, the Secretary of Defense, the Attorney General, and the Secretary of Homeland Security.

Many of us suspected that the intelligence community was deliberately stalling, and we questioned its motives last night. With Trump’s enemies practically jumping out of the woodwork, it certainly wouldn’t be farfetched. Of course, if China, Iran, and Russia interfered in our election, as Ratcliffe conveyed to CBS Senior Correspondent Catherine Herridge, it would strengthen his election fraud case.

Something smells fishy, but it’s definitely not in Denmark. It’s in the Washington swamp . . .

As The Gateway Pundit reports,

Newsmax correspondent Emerald Robinson on Thursday reported Ratcliffe is refusing to sign off on the report until the intel officials include the damning information on China and its attempt to influence the 2020 election.

Emerald Robinson, We’ve heard from sources that there is raw intelligence that is pretty damning and much more expansive on the efforts of China implemented in order to counter a possibility that there would be a Trump second term… The fact that Ratcliffe is waiting for that to be included is that there is a portion of the intelligence community that is refusing to sign off or to conduct a detrimental assessment of China and its efforts.
