U.S. Attorney General Barr Finally Emerges to Tell AP There is No Widespread Voter Fraud

BY LISA MICHELLE

U.S. Attorney Bill Barr reportedly told the AP today that there is no evidence of widespread voter fraud that could change the outcome of the 2020 election. Needless to say, with massive accounts of fraud reported at state hearings and hundreds of sworn affidavits, it didn’t go over well with President Trump’s supporters and legal team.

Attorney Lin Wood, who is suing Georgia independently for election fraud issues, seemed perplexed by it at first. “Sidney Powell @SidneyPowell1 & many others,” he wrote, “including myself,” have seen overwhelming evidence of the systemic fraud in the voting machine software. Dominion is controlled by Communist China. This make NO sense to Patriots. What is going on in D.C.? Same problem as exists in GA? “

“Lies about Dominion,” Wood tweeted when anger began to sink in. ” No action on Epstein, Durham, Hunter Biden laptop or Weiner laptop. A stolen election now being ignored.”

Later, however, Wood seemed more contemplative about it, questioning whether the AP had legitimately characterized Barr’s statement. “Perhaps,” he said, “I should have kept my powder dry on Bill Barr until he speaks formally or issues a press release.”

Trump’s official legal team released the following statement but took a more diplomatic approach . . .

December 01, 2020

STATEMENT OF TRUMP LEGAL TEAM ON BILL BARR’S COMMENTS ON VOTER FRAUD

“With all due respect to the Attorney General, there hasn’t been any semblance of a Department of Justice investigation. We have gathered ample evidence of illegal voting in at least six states, which they have not examined. We have many witnesses swearing under oath they saw crimes being committed in connection with voter fraud. As far as we know, not a single one has been interviewed by the DOJ. The Justice Department also hasn’t audited any voting machines or used their subpoena powers to determine the truth.

“Nonetheless, we will continue our pursuit of the truth through the judicial system and state legislatures, and continue toward the Constitution’s mandate and ensuring that every legal vote is counted and every illegal vote is not. Again, with the greatest respect to the Attorney General, his opinion appears to be without any knowledge or investigation of the substantial irregularities and evidence of systemic fraud.”

– Rudy Giuliani, Attorney for President Trump, and Jenna Ellis, Trump Campaign Senior Legal Adviser and Attorney for President Trump

Yet, it might have been premature. CBS senior investigator and former Fox News correspondent Catherine Heritage later clarified Barr’s statement. According to a DOJ spokesperson, she said, the AP report was wrong . . .

Either way, Barr has been missing in action. His timing to finally crawl out from the woodwork seems highly suspect.
