Joint Session of Congress Reconvenes, Social Media Gags Trump, and Insurrection Comes in Many Forms

As reported earlier today, the joint session of Congress to count and certify the Electoral College was forced into recess when a mob stormed the Capitol, and some managed to penetrate the building. The mob was identified as Trump supporters, but evidence has begun to surface that suggests at least some were Antifa-BLM provocateurs.

Either way, President Trump delivered a message on social media asking supporters to go home and expressing the need for peace and for law and order. He also described some of the circumstances surrounding this fraudulent election, empathizing with his supporters. That was enough for the social media oligarchs to shut down the President of the United States and ban a critical message from him that concerns our national security. Twitter has conveniently locked his account for 24 hours and removed the video, and Facebook has blocked him from posting for the next 24 hours.

Fortunately, The Bongino Report has captured his message on Rumble . . .

Congress has since reconvened to usher in an illegitimate president, and Trump and the so-called Republican base has essentially been gagged from all forms of public discourse and/or debate about it. It’s a déjà vu of the entire ordeal during this protracted fraudulent election.

If these aren’t acts of insurrection, it’s hard to imagine what would be.

The only senators who have voted to object to the Electoral College are Josh Hawley (R-MO), Ted Cruz (R-TX), Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) Cindy Hyde-Smith (R-MS), John Kennedy (R-LA) and Roger Marshall (R-KS). We will remember those who showed courage and stood up for the integrity of our country. We will also remember those who betrayed their sworn oaths to the Constitution and people.

It was no great surprise when Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell threw President Trump under the bus from the start, but it was somewhat surprising when Senator Tom Cotton did the same.

Senator Marsha Blackburn has announced her support to certify the fake election results for some unknown and unstated reason . . .

The DNC is pushing Pence to enact the 25th Amendment and it wouldn’t be hard to put past him. That’s the kind of trust he’s earned from us.

It is surreal. It feels like we’re living in an alternative universe amongst liars, traitors, demons, and thieves, and they’re waging a war against their own people and country.

Insurrection can take many forms.
